Audi wanted to make electric feel luxurious. We pitched making charging stations worth the 'gram.

The idea: Turn charging into a branded experience as premium as the car. Art by Kehinde Wiley—who puts modern Black figures in classical portraits—flipping the narrative on who belongs in luxury spaces.

Plus: Neil deGrasse Tyson hosting a video series about batteries. Because only he could make lithium-ion sound sexy.

Didn't get made. But it would've charged the conversation.

(Sorry, couldn't resist.)
